Mineyo Uemura
Mineyo Uemura's etchings reveal the magical bedtime storybook world of Moonberry
tender and playful
I admire this artist very much. I imagine that etching art must take up a lot of time from your hands. After all, it is a long working process and you are working with complex materials. Also, there is a huge amount of chemistry involved. Still, the results are astounding!

Aubrey Beardsley

The Dancer's Reward

The Peacock Skirt

Of a Neophyte, and How the Black Art was Revealed Unto Him

The Black Cape
I absolutely adore Aubrey Beardsley's work.
He is my favorite illustrator in the Art Nouveau era.
Though his illustrations were considered to be controversial at the time, due to their grotesque and perverse content, they still managed to hold on to some sort of morbid grace within an ethereal world of black and white.
